The Christmas Tag!

What is a new month without a quick tag to go along with it?! Seeing as it's December and Christmas Day will soon enough be upon us I thought that writing the Christmas Tag is perfect to share some festive cheer amongst us fellow bloggers and our readers. So grab yourself a hot drink (preferbly a hot chocolate with tons of marshmellows) and enjoy The Christmas Tag! Please fill in this tag too and let me know your traditions and things!

1 \\ What is your favourite thing about Christmas?
Some of my absolute favourite things are the scents of Christmas, then I just enjoy the whole atmosphere and watching movies most evenings.

2 \\ What is your favorite Christmas movie/s?
I have a whole blog post which has my 10 favourite Christmas movies on it, you can read it here

3 \\ Real tree or fake tree?

I always go for a fake tree, I'm hoping next year if Jordan stays here for Christmas instead of going home to Northern Ireland I will invest in a real tree.

4 \\ Giving presents or receiving them?

I like both, especially if lots of thought has gone into both processes.

5 \\ Do you open your presents Christmas morning or evening?

It all depends where I am, hopefully it'll be Christmas morning but all depends when I'm working and stuff. I'm never working Christmas Day again that's for sure.

6 \\ What tops your tree?

At home it's a star :-) we used to have a angel but she aged over the years and fell apart.

7 \\ As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?

I never seemed to get a rucksack for my Furby which back in the day was gutting, it's all on a video tape too me kicking off about it!

8 \\ Handmade Christmas cards or bought?

I never have time to make Handmade Christmas cards and if I did I totally would, it's a really nice idea. I do put a lot of thought into the cards I do buy though as I want to make sure it's liked by the recipient.

9 \\ What's your favourite Christmas food?

ALWAYS about pigs in blankets and roast potatoes.. MMMM.

10 \\ Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?

We always snuggle on the sofa with a film and have a few wines, I always put on a clean or new pair of Christmas PJ's too which is always good fun!

I look forward to reading your own responses!
thanks for reading,

  1. You're so right about Christmas SCENTS! Cinnamon and cloves and pine needles are my christmassy smells — yum. And I'm right there with you about pigs in blankets — though I went vegan this year so I'm going to have to find a veggie alternative asap! Lovely Christmassy post :)

I'd love a real Christmas tree too but I'm always worried my dogs would eat the pine needles lol.

  4. Aw I loved this! We used to have a real tree at my old job and it got so annoying when all the needles started to fall off, so did the baubles haha. At least with fake trees they stay looking the same for the entire Christmas period! (Do they do a christmas tree smell plug in though? That would be incredible haha).
I also LOVE pigs in blankets, there's never enough of them on my dinner! haha.

    1. OH NO, nothing worse than baubles falling off your tree! Such a pain in the bottom I can imagine. OH why hasn't nobody invented a plug-in smell for the fake trees? I think we're onto something Sian ;)
