*Foodies Festival, Birmingham

The Foodies Festival is the UK's biggest series of food festivals and now in it's 11th year. It tours the country, starting in Brighton and tours through different cities throughout the Summer. It's an amazing day out with the chance to see Michelin starred and top chefs signature recipes in the Chefs Theatre and top bakers show us their skills in the Cake & Bake Theatre. You can also taste wine, champagne and craft beer in the Drinks Theatre. I was gutted I didn't realise about the Drinks Theatre until the later part of the event, I would have loved sampling various wines and understanding what suits each dish.

There's a whole host of opportunities to buy tasty treats, feast on street food from around the world and enjoy the live music stage too.

So when I was invited on behalf of Vita Coco to attend the Foodies Festival when it came to Birmingham I grabbed my local blogging friend Steph and headed straight there.

The weather was absolutely incredible for the day, you couldn't have got better weather to be sat out enjoying a food festival. I however quickly released the stupid decision of not wearing sun cream and have been nursing my horrific sunburn since!

Me and Steph had the absolute best day nattering about blogging, eating yummy food and also having a few cocktails (Sloe Gin and Prosecco is definitely my go to this summer season!) and I couldn't have asked for better company during the day.

I really hope you enjoy looking through my images from the day and definitely check out the Foodies Festival website from their upcoming festivals across the country, you will not be disappointed! Also definitely check out the Coconut Oil products from Vita Coco, I'm going to write a separate post about their products soon, they're fab!

thanks for reading,
