So every summer who isn't trying to look after their health more and get that beach ready body? I'm sure i'm not the only one who is trying to trade in the junk food with alternative things to have in their diet.

I have grown a huge love for anything coconut water based this summer season and have even been using coconut oil in my daily routine. So when the For Goodness Shakes team (great company name by the way) announced the release of their new protein coconut water range I definitely wanted to give it a go and see what it was like.

The For Goodness Shakes Protein Coconut Water is a refreshing blend of coconut water and spring water, boosted with 10g of Whey Protein Isolate. It comes in two refreshing flavours, Tropical and Orange & Mango.

Protein is one of the building blocks of your body and a steady stream of it will enable you to cope with the rigours of daily life, or when your trying to keep in shape like me. Plus it can help promote a feeling of satiety keeping you feeling fuller for longer, and hopefully stop you reaching for that couple of biscuits in the afternoon.

With these drinks For Goodness Shakes has combined Protein with Coconut water to help hydrate and recover at the same time, all in a delicious and low calorie drink. Whilst these products are rich in protein, each bottle contains zero fat and has no added sugar, so your getting a nutritious drink for only 52 calories.

It's a great option for a drink that you have throughout the day or something for on the go and it's been a great source of good nutrition whilst training for the 5K Colour Run in Birmingham that I'm taking part in in August! It's been my go to for after a run so I would definitely purchase this product again and I am willing to try more of their products too!

I am definitely more of a fan of the Orange & Mango flavour than the Tropical, the Orange & Mango had a more pleasant taste for me and I felt so refreshed and energised after drinking it.

I would definitely recommend these products to anybody looking for a new drink for their summer workout or to keep refreshed and healthy during these warmer months!
