The countdown is on, this Friday the Olympics 2016 in Rio begins and it proves to bring a buzzing atmosphere along with it

It doesn't feel like it was 4 years ago that my own home country played host to this incredible event and I remember so vividly the performances I took part in to celebrate the torch going through my local county. It provides some absolute incredible memories for me and I loved watching our team at the London Olympics. I absolutely love the Olympics and despite the massive time difference I will be still be tuning in to see my favourite athletes battle it out to win the medals on offer!

With tons of negative press leading up to the Olympics in Rio I for one am so excited for another couple of weeks of watching loads of my favourite sport events and definitely tons of screaming at the TV. Also events like the Olympics are fantastic opportunities to inspire the next generation of athletes to get involved in more sport in and outside of their school!

In honour of their #Superfans, the Team GB athletes have joined up together with Panasonic to bring together something special just for you to enjoy and hopefully help in building up the atmosphere for this weekend.

Starring some of the biggest names within the team at this year's Olympic Games, including Tom Daley, Louise Smith and Nicola Adams, we witness our country's sporting heroes have a break in their schedule to bring you something special..

You'll see that winning medals isn't their only talent as they do a fun lip sync battle to Years and Years 'Worship'. It's the perfect song to sing along and dance to as we warm up for the big event, I definitely will be dancing along to this during the week!

I'm looking forward to the Athletics, Rowing, Gymnastics and Swimming events the most! What are your favourite Olympic events? And are you going to be watching the 2016 Rio Olympics?

You can watch the video over on YouTube HERE and please make sure you tweet about the Olympics! Use the hashtag #Superfans and get involved!
