Leicester Marriott Hotel Gym

It's been one of my goals this year to get back into shape and look after my body more. We're halfway through the year and I still haven't made any changes to my exercise regime (oops) However when I was invited back to the Leicester Marriott Hotel to try out their leisure club facilities, in particular their new gym I couldn't say no. Plus it saved me having to sign a gym contract and then never use it to it's fullest. Plus the hotel was an absolute highlight from my blogging opportunities last year and I would always recommend visiting there.

Cineworld Loughborough

There's a buzz growing in my local town of Loughborough and I'm really excited by it. Cineworld is amongst a host of new restaurants and bars heading into the new complex on Baxter Gate. Located in the site of the hold Baxter Gate which has been abandoned since 2003 now stands something brand new for the town and 250 jobs too! When I was invited to take a look at the brand new Cineworld I knew I had to pop over, I was curious to see what they could offer that stood apart from the Odeon Cinema in Loughborough which is just around the corner.

IDFB 2016 : Aakash Odedra & Sanjukta Sinha

As the International Dance Festival in Birmingham draws to an end this weekend, I was really happy to be re-invited back amongst the buzz of it all to watch another performance. Now my knowledge of traditional Indian classical dance is quite small but it's definitely something I'm interested in and enjoy watching. I found this interest in the style a year ago so when I saw that two pretty big names in the world of Indian Dance were going to be performing in Birmingham I knew I had to give them a watch. The Patrick Centre within the Birmingham Hippodrome started to fill and it wasn't long until we released this was a sell out performance!

Birmingham is celebrating all genres of Dance throughout May with the return of their well known International Dance Festival Birmingham (or referred to as IDFB). With a whole programme of dance companies from across the world, as well as some from close to home, I can assure you there isn't anything you should be missing and if you enjoy watching Dance then you have no excuse. I was kindly invited along by the IDFB team at DanceXChange this evening to watch one of the pieces and I was left exhausted.
