Coping with Mental Health in the Workplace.

I haven't spoken about my mental health in a considerably long time, a couple of years in fact. I suppose I've been lucky that sometimes it doesn't affect me too much, until the past couple of months that is. Mental Health is very real, a struggle and I need to talk about it. In 2017 I …

Taffy Mail, The UK's Only American Sweet Subscription Box.

Whats Halloween or a weekend without some candy to feast on? In general, there's nothing quite like trying out new candy treats from the comfort of your home. I love trying out snacks from other parts of the globe but this can be quite expensive and not very cost effective. That's where Taf…

Pho Restaurant, Leicester.

There's a new restaurant in Leicester that you most definitely need to pop on your list of places to dine, Pho is a family-run business that serves great value, authentically prepared Vietnamese street food with restaurants across the UK, it's latest just on the tail end of the Highcross Shopping Centre. The name Pho comes from the Vietnam national dish, Pho, an aromatic and nutritious rice noodle soup served with a side of fresh herbs.

What's also so good about this restaurant is that they have lots of options available for vegans and with their menu being mostly gluten-free (it was accredited by Coeliac UK) it caters for so many diners.

Evening Spa Experience, Ragdale Hall, Leicester.

We all deserve the opportunity to unwind, turn off our social media for a while and treat ourselves to a spa date. Statistics show that we spend on average 2 hours or more on social media, when that becomes your full-time job then it's a lot more. It becomes overwhelming so more reason to head to somewhere where you can't have your phone by your side for its entirety, taking the time to appreciate the smaller things for a few hours.

Bistrot Pierre, Leicester

Bistrot Pierre provides great provincial French cooking in relaxed and friendly restaurants across the UK. It's a restaurant that for years I've glazed by and never gave an opportunity to, the 'French' cuisine kind of terrifies me (I usually think of snails!) so when I was invited t…

Wine and Food Tasting, Veeno, Leicester

Sometimes it's quite difficult to decide the preference in which you spend your evenings, more so now it's darker by around 5.30pm. If you do enjoy a good beverage combined with an education about the different types of specific drinks out there then I would definitely recommend you check out Veeno. The Italian wife cafe chain is the first of it's kind and offers quality Italian wines as well as a great variety of appetisers across the UK. The Leicester branch of the cafe itself is situated just by St Martins Walk.

ZSL London Zoo with Attraction Tix*

I've been to London a lot of times in my lifetime, usually visiting to take in the smells and tastes of Camden Market, shopping along Oxford Street or heading to see one of the London's West End shows. I've visited a few of London's attractions but never been to ZSL London Zoo before, so when Attraction Tix* invited me to check it out for myself it was the perfect opportunity for me and Jordan to take a well-needed day out.

Interview | George Sampson, Our House The Musical.

It's hard to believe that it was nearly 10 years ago that we saw George Sampson win the 2008 series of Britains Got Talent at only 14 years old. Admired for his cheeky and cheerful attitude to his break and street dancing routines that saw him win the series. George has gone onto featuring on T…

Whenever Autumn arrives it feels like it gives me permission to set some things into motion, to start afresh and to think about any goals I'd like to accomplish. So here I am with TOWIE on as background noise (I can't help it), a fresh cup of tea and some chocolate and pumpkin spiced browni…
