Create The Next Cadbury Dairy Milk Bar This Summer.

Leicester, UK
Ever wanted to design your own chocolate bar? Well Cadbury has set the challenge where someone will be able to do that. For the first time ever in their history, Cadbury is opening their doors and offering everyone in the UK and the Republic of Ireland the chance to create and name their own Cadbury Dairy Milk bar.

So if you've ever looked at the special edition Cadbury Dairy Milk bars and thought you could do better or there's a combination you'd like to see in a chocolate bar, then this is the chance you've been waiting for.

There are over 90,000 combinations of flavours to choose from, people can submit up to three flavours for the chance to be one of three finalists whose creations will be sold in stores nationwide. The country will then vote for their favourite option and the winning bar will be added to the Cadbury Dairy Milk range. What an amazing opportunity?!

I gave it a go myself and entered my bar of choice by hopping over to the Cadbury Inventor

On the website you can pick from a huge array of ingredients, from apple, popping candy and brownie, to mustard, raisins, and ginger. The possibilities are endless! I thought there was too much choice to choose from, it was so difficult to decide on the combination I'd want on the shelves. I went for Brownie, Mixed Berries, and Raisins.

It was so quick and easy to do that I don't see why you wouldn't want to give the competition a go!

The Director of Research and Development at Cadbury, David Shepherd said that 'At Cadbury we've been making delicious chocolate for over 100 years and are always looking for ways to innovate and excite the great British public with our products. So we thought what better way to create the next iconic bar than to ask the people that love it the most.

This is the first time we've opened the doors to our fans to help us create the next bar and we can't wait to see how creative they get with the ingredients on offer.

It'll be great to see the imagination of our fans shine through and now have the chance to make the first fan-based Cadbury Dairy Milk bar a reality for our lucky finalists.'

The competition closes on the 31st July so you have plenty of time to get thinking and create the chocolate bar of your dreams.
