#JetSetBeauty World Duty Free Event, Birmingham Airport.

Birmingham Airport (BHX), Birmingham B26 3QJ, UK
The last time I worked with World Duty Free was a few years ago for another event and it was fair to say it was one of my favourite events I have ever attended in the four years I've been blogging. Kirstie from BehindTheScent from a fantastic post from the last time we attended here. So it'll be no surprise to you when an invite to their latest event dropped into my inbox I definitely had to clear the diary to attend.

The team kindly sent a car to take me to and from the location of the event, Birmingham International Airport. The airport itself is one of the largest in the UK, and it has two World Duty Free stores. The only downside was we weren't jetting off anywhere at the airport, though it was definitely tempting to see where we could go if we felt brave enough.

World Duty Free at Birmingham International Airport is one of the best places I know to grab some exclusives and to stock up on your essentials. The main area is home to some of the biggest names in beauty; Jo Malone, Urban Decay, and MAC.

We were in attendance as part of their #JetSetBeauty campaign. It showcases some of the key beauty items available in World Duty Free stores throughout the UK this summer, and there are some fantastic exclusives this Summer.

As part of the campaign, we were kindly given some gift vouchers to spend in the World Duty Free Store. It was pretty damn difficult choosing between everything that they have to offer, and especially as we didn't have a lot of time to choose! It was stressful! Sometimes you don't have a lot of time to browse in the duty-free areas in airports so this added to a real life experience if you ask me. I decided that I wanted to grab some perfumes as I wanted to scope out new scents and stay away from buying makeup which I wouldn't necessarily use. I did purchase one makeup product which I am proper chuffed with is the *Bobbi Brown Luxe Eye Shadow. This eyeshadow is extremely pigmented with sparkle, it applies well and will go well over all of the festival looks I have in mind this Summer!

I went to town when it came to perfumes (I couldn't resist!) I absolutely love Marc Jacobs perfume and have been gutted for a while to have misplaced my Daisy Perfume. I went for the *Daisy Twinkle which is the latest to the collection. The scent has notes of raspberry, grapefruit, wild rose, warm plum, and cedarwood. It's one of the nicest scents and may be slightly better than the Daisy perfume I did have. I know I'm going to be wearing this on a regular basis! I also got my hand on the *Marc Jacobs Miniature Gift Set which is a great way of me getting an idea of the scents I prefer from the collections should I want to get a bigger bottle in the future.

Whilst we were there we headed to the Jo Malone store which treated us to a complimentary hand massage. Jo Malone is very much a brand out of my own budget so whenever I get the chance to visit and see what products they have it definitely feels like a luxury. The staff at Jo Malone were super helpful and lovely, offering their advice about each scent and fragrance combining too. I picked up a new perfume, the *Nectarine Blossom & Honey Cologne which is gorgeous! I'm so excited to wear this on special occasions.

As I didn't stay in the hotel which was organised for the other people attending the event I kindly had the most generous goodie bag sent to my home. I got some fantastic products perfectly sized for holidays! One of my favourite products in the goodie bag was the *Narsissist Jetsetter Cult Classic Set which is a great travel companion for a full face of makeup whilst you are on holiday! It contains the Nars concealer so I'm definitely excited to give it a go!

If you are heading on your holiday soon and you are flying from Birmingham International Airport then you definitely need to check out the World Duty Free store, you can see what they have to offer over on their website too! If you want to see what's on offer then their website is the best place to go. You can also reserve products through their website to guarantee it's yours when you get to the airport.

What is your ultimate go to at duty-free?
